As a proud 10-year veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO). He brings a disciplined, mission-focused approach to his expertise in security governance, audits, and risk assessments. Del holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a Minor in Business from Saint Leo University, as well as an Associate of Science in Security Administration from the Community College of the Air Force. His extensive experience includes critical roles at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he served as the Regional Patch and Vulnerabilities Team Lead, managing a distributed team of analysts supporting VA Medical Centers nationwide. Throughout his tenure, he played a key role in FISCAM and FISMA audits, further strengthening his expertise in federal security compliance and vulnerability management. Expanding his impact in cybersecurity, Del held a position at Ball Corporation as part of the Global IT Team, where he earned his CISSP certification. He later contributed to the DoD MHS GENESIS EHR/EMR program at the 71st AETC Clinic, serving as the Site Integrator (SI) and Training Roles Manager (TRM) during their GoLive activation—helping streamline security protocols and user integration for a critical healthcare IT transformation. In the private sector, Del has been instrumental in supporting enterprise-level healthcare clients while serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at First Health Advisory, where he obtained his Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) certification. Recognizing the importance of securing digital ecosystems against evolving cyber threats, Del founded Verafi.Me LLC, a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) consultancy, providing cybersecurity risk assessments and audits tailored to financial payment processors and healthcare organizations.
